ENGLISH LAKE

English Lake is an approximately 51-acre lake. The maximum depth of this lake is 85 feet, making it the deepest lake in Manitowoc County. The public access has a concrete boat launch ramp with a 50 foot port-a-pier. Other facilities available are a small shelter, picnic areas with grills and a toilet building. There are parking spaces to accommodate 15 car/trailer units.

This lake is known for nice size walleyes, large mouth bass and panfish. Operating restrictions on motorboats and water skiing are posted at the access.


Location: Brunner Road, Town of Newton
Directions: Take Highway 42 South from Manitowoc, West on English Lake Road approximately 2 miles to Brunner Road. South on Brunner Road .5 miles to driveway located on the East side of the road.
